Tears Dont Fall

A drop in the pool creates a ripple effect,
Disturbing the once-still water.
Another drop falls, followed by others,
They begin to add to the size and depth to the already deep dark pool.
Many more come, falling down,
Dementing and adding to the ever-growing pool.
The drops then cease,
Leaving the disturbed pool to slowly ebb and relax,
Only to be filled and dismayed even more when the drops come again…
